Join us for a light breakfast Saturday mornings’ as we discuss new ideas and basic fundamentals to make growing plants of all types easier, safer and more beneficial.

Winter growing classes (January – March) are held in our garden store. Spring, summer and fall growing classes (April – October) are held rain or shine in our outdoor study garden.

A two part series that will discuss how to correctly process and package your garden produce. The discussion will consider proper sanitation and the many other processess that are used to safely, efficiently and effectivley preserve fruits and vegetables.
A four part class series discussing the many uses of cover crops to make growing vegetables, landscape plants, lawns and meadows easier, safer and more beneficial. Discussions will focus specifically on how to use cover crops to reduce weed populations and increase soil drainage, plant rooting, and nutrient availability.
A two part series that will help you extend the regular garden season. We will discuss cold frames, row covers, mulching and other methods to keep fresh vegetables flowing in your kitchen well into the winter months.
